The banks of Kyoto’s Izumojibashi Bridge, richly preserving the city’s history. The sushi restaurant, serving
only six diners per evening, is located in the partially renovated residence of an essayist, standing on a 330
square-meter plot.
This is Sushi Kondo.
In childhood, I aspired to be a chef. After training at Sushi-Dokoro Hirano and spending 20 years wielding the
sushi knife, I have now succeeded in opening this splendidly located restaurant.
While appreciating Kyoto’s charms with all five of your senses, enjoy sushi prepared with experience, know-how
and creative originality.
